Christine Leedy teaches classes at t Pand on Monday mornings (9:30-10:45 or 11:00-12:15) and Tuesday evenings (18:30-19:45 or 20:00 – 21:15). It’s a lovely location where different yoga, meditation, and spiritual courses take place. A typical class begins with music and active movements to warm the muscles, increase your heart rate and get you out of your head and into your body. Next, we do various sequences from Dru Yoga, which combine traditional yoga postures like the tree with breath awareness, hand mudras, and positive affirmations. At the end of the class, you lie down for a guided relaxation, followed by a short meditation.
Everyone is welcome to participate from young to old. The trick is to work with, not against, your body. You will be encouraged to use props or adapt postures where necessary. A yoga class offers you the perfect opportunity to practice finding a balance between challenging yourself and staying within your capabilities.

Yoga mats, meditation pillows, and blankets are available in ‘t Pand. The groups are small, between 6-8 people. The location is regularly cleaned and ventilated.
